DeepWisdom Launches Atoms Multi-Agent Platform for Solo Entrepreneurs 🚀
Category: Startups and Funding
Source: South China Morning Post
Ant Group-backed Chinese AI startup DeepWisdom has launched Atoms, a revolutionary multi-agent application designed to democratize software development for solo entrepreneurs. The platform allows users to build websites, apps, and games simply by describing their ideas in natural language—no coding required.
Behind the scenes, Atoms deploys a virtual team of AI agents acting as team leader, engineer, product manager, data analyst, architect, deep researcher, and SEO specialist. The system is powered largely by open-source AI models including Alibaba’s Qwen and DeepSeek, delivering finished products without users writing a single line of code.
“We want everyone to be able to realise their ideas at very low cost,” said Alex Wu Chenglin, founder and CEO of DeepWisdom. “Each person can become one of the building blocks of society.”
DeepWisdom, which is backed by Ant Group, Cathay Capital, Jinqiu Capital, and Baidu Ventures, describes this new paradigm as “vibe business”—going beyond “vibe coding” to create AI agents that function as end-to-end employees. The Atoms website features a library of templates designed to help users coordinate these virtual teams effectively.
This launch represents a significant step toward making software development accessible to non-technical entrepreneurs, potentially transforming how solo founders bring their ideas to market.
Elon Musk Seeks Up to $134B in OpenAI Lawsuit Despite $700B Fortune đź’°

Elon Musk is demanding between $79 billion and $134 billion in damages from OpenAI and Microsoft, claiming the AI company defrauded him by abandoning its nonprofit mission. The staggering figure comes from expert witness C. Paul Wazzan, a financial economist who calculated that Musk deserves a substantial portion of OpenAI’s current $500 billion valuation based on his $38 million seed donation when he co-founded the startup in 2015.
Wazzan’s analysis combines Musk’s initial financial contributions with his technical and business contributions to OpenAI’s early team, calculating wrongful gains of $65.5 billion to $109.4 billion for OpenAI and $13.3 billion to $25.1 billion for Microsoft, which now owns 27% of the company. This would represent a 3,500-fold return on Musk’s original investment.
However, the damages demand appears less about financial need and more about principle. Musk’s personal fortune currently hovers around $700 billion, making him the world’s richest person by a $500 billion margin over second-place Larry Page. Even a $134 billion payout would represent a relatively modest addition to his wealth.
OpenAI has characterized the lawsuit as part of an “ongoing pattern of harassment,” reportedly warning investors and business partners that Musk will make “deliberately outlandish, attention-grabbing claims” as the case heads to trial in April in Oakland, California. Tesla shareholders separately approved a $1 trillion pay package for Musk in November, the largest corporate pay package in history.

Ben Affleck’s Viral AI Commentary Resurfaces - Oscar-winning screenwriter Ben Affleck is making headlines again for his articulate analysis of AI’s impact on Hollywood. In a viral clip from the Delivering Alpha 2024 summit, Affleck argued that AI “can write excellent imitative verse that sounds Elizabethan, it cannot write you Shakespeare,” emphasizing that movies will be “one of the last things to be replaced by AI.” He predicted AI will lower costs for visual effects and reduce barriers to entry in filmmaking, but stressed that human creativity, taste, and knowing “when to stop” remain irreplaceable. Social media users widely praised his balanced, informed perspective. Source: BuzzFeed
Real-World AI Coding Agent Experiences - Developers are sharing mixed experiences with AI coding agents like Claude Code, highlighting both capabilities and limitations. One developer noted that Claude’s primary advantage is reliability—it “doesn’t hallucinate APIs” compared to competitors. However, the autonomous coding feature is “overhyped,” with cost being a major concern ($65 in API costs over three days for a single feature). Another developer documented lessons from creating over 50 projects, emphasizing that “people are still necessary,” AI models “are brittle beyond their training data,” and the ease of adding features leads to “irresistible feature creep.” The consensus: AI coding agents are powerful tools that amplify human expertise but don’t replace experienced developers. Reddit’s AI Gold Mine - Reddit stock hit $257 this week, up 400% since its IPO, largely due to AI companies’ dependence on citing Reddit content. ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude frequently reference Reddit discussions, with Google paying Reddit $60 million annually for training data and OpenAI having a similar deal. Reddit is projected to make $1.3 billion in 2025 partly from AI licensing agreements—essentially monetizing free user conversations. The irony: we built AI to replace humans, but “the most valuable thing in the AI era is authentic human conversation.” Source: Reddit
AI Consciousness Research Initiative - Chris Percy, Director of the CoSentience Initiative, discussed his team’s research on artificial consciousness, arguing we should take the possibility seriously while remaining humble about current understanding. The ACTOR framework evaluates what theories of consciousness need to address regarding AI minds, with Percy emphasizing that “philosophical uncertainty need not paralyse practical decision-making.” His work examines computational functionalism and whether AI systems could genuinely possess consciousness.
